刘灯清，1974年出生于福建省闽侯县，中国民族工艺美术大师、广西工艺美术大师。从事木根雕制作二十多年来，作品力求简洁创新、立意深邃、气度宏大，利用树根的各异形态，多变肌理的天然之美构思立意，巧用盘根错节求的整天中的变化。作品以独特的风格自成一派，得到了业内名家的认可与喜爱，大多被国内外博物馆收藏，多次在国内外大赛展评中斩获大奖，被各大新闻媒体多次播出报道，并发表了多篇木根雕专业论文。2012年作品入选中华艺术名家纪念邮票珍藏册。

Liu Dengqing, born in Minhou County, Fujian Province in 1974, Fujian Province, is a master of Chinese national arts and crafts and Guangxi arts and crafts. They have won awards in domestic and foreign competitions for many times, have been broadcast and reported by major news media for many times, and published many professional papers on wood root carving. In 2012, his works were selected in the commemorative stamp collection of Chinese famous artists.

根雕是流传于陕西省传统民间工艺，主要流传于陕北地区。根雕，是一种雕刻方法，是中国传统雕刻艺术之一，是以树根（包括树身、树瘤、竹根等）的自生形态及畸变形态为艺术创作对象，通过构思立意、艺术加工及工艺处理，创作出人物、动物、器物等艺术形象作品。

根雕艺术是发现自然美而又显示创造性加工的造型艺术，根雕工艺讲究“三分人工，七分天成”，意为在根雕创作中，应主要利用根材的天然形态来表现艺术形象，辅助性进行人工处理修饰，因此，根雕又被称为“根的艺术”或“根艺”。

2011年作品《难得糊涂》荣获中国（烟台）第六届民间工艺品博览会金奖；

2012年作品《薪火相传》荣获中国（青岛赛区）2012“金凤凰”创新产品设计大奖赛银奖；

2013年作品《岁月》荣获第二届广西工艺美术作品奖—金奖；

2014年作品《老子思道》荣获第48届中国工艺品交易会“金凤凰”创新产品设计大奖赛银奖；

2016年作品《十二生肖贺寿》荣获广西工艺美术大师精品创作工程银奖；

2017年作品《释迦牟尼》荣获第十届中国（长春）国际民间艺术博览会金奖；

2018年作品《三字经》荣获第十九届中国工艺美术大师作品2018“百花杯”银奖；

2018年作品《刘三姐斗秀才》荣获广西工艺美术大师精品创作工程金奖；

2019年作品《我有佳宾》荣获54届全国工艺品交易会银奖。
